A graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State Nigeria, he hails from Mbatyav-Mbagwaza, Ushongo Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. Is a Professor of Political Science, and currently the Director-General, Benue Public Service Institute, Makurdi. He is a seasoned and astute teacher with over 3 decades of teaching and research experiences, and has served within and outside the University communities, including but not limited to, Professor, Head of Political Science Department, Dean, School of Social Sciences, Benue State University, Makurdi; Deputy Provost (Administration)CEO Senior Lecturer, Admission Officer, Resource Person (National Institute for Legislative Studies); Desk Officer (UNICEF Assisted Basic Education Programme). Has also served in Government Agencies and has rendered several community services. An author who has written and published books, presented several papers in Seminars and Conferences, and published as well as several journals. He is a serial Award winner and recipient of multiple Honours. A member of several National and International Professional Bodies. He is well travelled and married with children.
